Work in our discipline enables us to understand and predict the state of the ocean and its ecosystems for economic and ecological benefits.

International Collaboration

We support network building, research collaboration and publication with five international sister centres that strengthens knowledge and impact.

Research Excellence

Our team of students, postdoctoral fellows, research associates and collaborators represent the brightest talents in African and global ocean research.

Operational Oceanography
